Happy New Year, residents!

We hope 2023 ended on a high note for everyone here at Quaker Meadows Apartments. Over the past couple months, it was wonderful hosting a fantastic series of holiday events for our neighbors and seeing so many of you there spreading seasonal joy.

We’ve also included pictures of the dazzling light displays from our holiday decorating contest winners - the creativity this year was astounding! We wish you and yours happiness and prosperity in 2024.

Ugly Sweater Contest

Congratulation to Layle McCellon Rivers for winning the ugly sweater contest at the Adults Christmas party.

Holiday Light Contest

The Holiday Light contest judge was here on 12/21 to look at all the lights and a few staff members escorted the judge around and took pictures.  The creativity and willingness to do this again was outstanding.  So many of you participated and did a fantastic job with your displays.  It was a great evening for all of us to walk around and see.

The judge informed us that deciding the top three winners was very difficult because they were all beautiful, but finally came to a decision of the top three winners.  Thank you to all who participated!

Take a trip down memory lane with these photos of some of our past holiday moments from 2023, filled with joy and holiday cheer!

Manager's Notes

Happy New Year to all of you and your families! We wish you a prosperous, happy, healthy, New Year!

Maintenance requests: During the inspections in 2023, we have learned that some of the work orders needed in your apartments are not being called into the office. Please either call the office or email either us with any work orders that need to be addressed. It is important that we know what needs to be repaired. You can also put work orders in through the resident portal. If you need help with this please let us know by calling or emailing us at 781-599-7295 or jforbes@cjmanagement.com or vflores@cjmanagement.com

Please join me in thanking Vanesa, Carlos, and Bob for all they did at Quaker Meadows in 2023. We had a very busy year with the annual apartment inspections, a safety inspection, and all the projects and resident events we were able to accomplish in 2023. I am grateful for their hard work here!

Please join me and the Quaker Meadows staff in thanking Ana for all her hard work in creating all the fun events we had in 2023!!

I also want to thank all the residents of Quaker Meadows for their patience and cooperation with all the projects we were able to complete in 2023. It was a very productive year.

Thank you all!

Judy

Seasonal Tips

Tips for Staying Warm: Exposure to cold can cause life-threatening health conditions. Avoid serious conditions such as frostbite and hypothermia, by keeping warm.

  1. Wear a hat, hood, or scarf, as most heat is lost through the head.

  2. Wear layers, as they provide better insulation and warmth.

  3. Keep fingertips, earlobes, and noses covered if you go outside.

  4. Keep clothing dry; if a layer becomes wet, remove it.

Maintenance Notes

Happy New Year to all of you and your families!

Christmas Tree Disposal: If you are disposing of a real Christmas Tree, please place it in a bag before bringing it out of your apartment to the dumpster. This will help keep the pine needles from falling everywhere.

Storage rooms: If you are storing items in your storage bin in the basement, please make sure it has a lock on it. We will be addressing any storage rooms filled with items that are unlocked. We will consider these items “abandoned” and will throw these items out. Please call the office if you have any questions on this.
